On Thursday, March 6, our Middle School Students were able to attend the 24th annual Tech Expo sponsored by Idaho State University's College of Technology
They were told to expect (excerpt from https://www.isu.edu/techexpo/ ):
Exploration: Tech Expo opened its doors to high schools and junior high schools across the state, inviting their students to embark on a journey of discovery. They will have the chance to explore the myriad educational and career possibilities that Idaho State University offers.
Engagement: This event is designed to be hands-on and interactive. From state-of-the-art exhibits to dynamic presentations, the Tech Expo will engage and captivate participants of all ages.
Collaboration: We believe in fostering meaningful connections between ISU and our valued business and industry partners. Tech Expo serves as the ideal platform for forging collaborations that drive innovation and progress.
Ms. Laura provided each student with a handy book with questions to fill out with information from the booths they visited. Students were able to visit booths of tech programs that peaked their interest. Coding, Nursing, Engineering, Computer programming, and Robotics are just a few examples of educational and career booths they could choose from. Benny the Bengal was even there to greet students!
